set as the flint insoluble as the limestone

inhabitants under siege cling together


howling whirlwind dark clouds cluster the horizon

unperturbed the eagles mount over the elements 


eyes of the heart beholding the rainbow  

sight of the unseen combat the senses 

swimming against the tide panic feeling every crevice


sure footed bearing the amour of words 

sticking a pin point in the balloon of despair 

sinking to rest exhausted and deflated

the storm takes a bow
